In 2016, Asia experienced a severe medical crisis when she suffered a spontaneous uterine hemorrhage that lasted over twelve hours. In order to save her life, Phillip was faced with the difficult decision to consent to an emergency hysterectomy. This surgery was necessary but ultimately meant that Asia would no longer be able to conceive naturally.
Over the last few year since the surgery, Phillip and Asia have developed a close friendship with another couple from their local church. After much discussion about children and infertility, wife of the couple has stepped forward to offer her help by becoming a gestational carrier for Phillip and Asia. This arrangement presents an opportunity for the couple to grow their family, but it also comes with significant financial challenges.
The cost of in-vitro fertilization (IVF) medications is notably high, and as such, Phillip and Asia are actively seeking funds to assist with these expenses. Their journey is marked by hope, as they strive to welcome a new baby into their family despite the financial and emotional hurdles they face.
